NxWorries is the duo of Knxwledge and Anderson .Paak, two of themajor figures who emerged from Los Angeles' fertile multi-genremusic communityduring the 2010s. Both musicians had deepbackgrounds prior to the early 2015 release oftheir first single,"Suede", and its parent EP, LinkUp&Suede --dazed funkissued onStones Throw.That year alone, theyseparately contributed to two ofthe year's biggest albums. Knxwledge co-produced "Momma", a trackoff Kendrick Lamar's To Pimp A Butterfly, while Paak was heavilyfeatured on Dr. Dre's Compton .The next year, after Knxwledge andEarl Sweatshirt issued "Balance" and Paak was heard on tracks byKAYTRANADA, ScHoolboyQ, Jack Garratt, and Mac Miller, StonesThrow released Yes Lawd!, a NxWorries full-length. Yes Lawd! Remixesappeared the following year, again via Stones Throw.
