Reggae act, Patoranking, has revealed during a media parley organised by MTV Base, that he would have been a criminal but for music. According to him, music saved him from becoming a criminal as the slum did not give occupants many options. “There, it was either you made it the right way or the crime way”, but Pato chose music and it has worked for him. He expressed his appreciation to MTV Base for making him the Artiste of the Month On his debut album, Pato disclosed that plans were in place for him to release an album later this year and that he would not mind featuring reggae artistes such as Beenie man and Sean Paul.
