Bob Memphis (а.k.a Vladimir Yakimov) - music producer from Russia. His creative way began in 1997 with the development and writing of his first works in Scream tracker. Even in the complete absence of external samples, presets and sizzling 8 bit sound of standart instruments, the process of writing music already became his biggest passion in life. Next was the Impulse tracker, Reason that brought sound work to a new level, Nuendo, Cubase and thousands of hours of fascinating journey into the world of music and the endless search for himself in the creation. Despite the long way he passed, composing music all these years remained for him no more than a hobby, and his work could be assessed only by close friends. And only 18 years later he decided that he has something to tell listeners around the world and in 2015 he started to cooperate with music labels. His first new work "Castelldefels" was signed to sub-label of "Black hole recordings" - "Magic Island records" label. The track was appreciated by Roger Shah and included in his annual compilation "Magic Island Vol. 6". In addition to this a partnership with labels "Ayra recordings" and "Silk Music" has begun. In his works Bob Memphis emphasizes melodic and emotional components of the track, giving preference to such styles like balearic trance, progressive breaks, chillout, and others.
