Release 001 from Unike Muzik sees Romanian artist Markus Homm step up to deliver a superb four track selection. Having first exploded onto the scene with his 2009 co-produced hit "Bis Co", the former record store owner has gone on to see his very own 'black gold' being produced on a regular basis. His music has graced the likes of Diynamic, Ostwind, Cargo Edition and Kiara, but Markus' music is most often found on the label of his spiritual home, Highgrade Records.

"What Do They Want" finds Markus deep in thought. Lead cut "Keyframe Signal" paves the way with its wonderfully warm and uplifting vibes before the title track asks the question with its android vocals and pulsing synth stabs. "Take Off" seems to veer away from the intense exertions that its name may suggest, instead opting for a magical beetles path. Bringing the beat back is the acid-tinged laid-back grooves of the aptly titled digital exclusive cut "Lazy Feed."
