Electric Silver is the new record combining electric free-bop harpist Mia Theodoratus (Ann Magnuson, The Citizen’s Band, Soft Focus) with investigative drummer Michael Evans (God is my Co-Pilot, John Zorn, Jarboe). The CD is a rare combination of groovy tracks that will have you dancing with inspiration from Raga, African Drums, Irish gigs, John Cage and Bootsy Collins .

The record is an analog work from Lary Seven’s Plastikville records in NYC and was recorded straight to tape in Brooklyn, NY. It was also mixed on state of the art vintage analog equipment at Salt in Greenpoint. The record is also available on vinyl

Mia Theodoratus is a composer, improviser and harpist. Her goal is to express life through the harp using classical technique infused with the dynamics of free bop and the rhythm/feel of rock.
When Mia moved to NYC she joined formed Vardo with singer Dawn McCarthy and began playing in clubs like CBGB's, Coney Island High, the Cooler and the Mercury Lounge with radio shows on WFMU and WKCR. M
