Fabian Argomedo makes his debut on Agile with some hip-shaking grooves and bounce galore. "Breaking Bass" boasts a crackling rhythm section complete with skipping hi-hats that never let up. Vocal snippets add the necessary high end touch while a sneaky piano loop makes its appearance subtly, and a warped crooner takes center stage and dominates the rest of the track. Label boss Uto Karem strips a few things away but adds extra percussion while keeping the affair in looped mode. The rubber-band bass makes sure no momentum is lost, and his version makes heavy use of the piano before leading us into an apocalyptic, Uto Karem-styled breakdown.
