My Apology is to the families of the 26 victims of Newtown. My Apology is for the senseless gun violence that is excused by the NRA, as 2nd Amendment Rights. My Apology is for not one single gun law changing because neither Democratic, nor Republican lawmakers have the courage to #26Acts. I have only seen 2 people, Illinois Senator, Dick Durbin and Cleo Pendleton, mother of Hadiya Pendleton with enough courage to publicly apologize and simply say, “I’m sorry.” I want to do the same.
