In Waves is the project of two Minnesota natives who make music focused on energy, emotion, and atmosphere. Originating as the string section in various indie rock bands, with a shared interest in ambient electronica and dance music; In Waves combines organic instrumentals and electronic elements to create psychedelic dance rock, groove-based trip hop, ambient soundscapes, and everything in between.

"Season One" is the most melodic and heartfelt In Waves release to date, full of lush ambience, rich textures, and flourishes of classical roots. With a focus on melody and sonic depth, it features layered synths, sparkling electronics, and prominent piano and guitar melodies.
