Lia’s self-titled debut album is a compilation of original songs and ballads, fluctuating between pop, jazz and blues. The album begins with the hard hitting tune “I’d Have Loved You”, followed by “Still Young”, a reflection on the ideals of a present generation of young lovers. The album ends with “No Good For Me” and “Stupid Girl”, two powerful ballads underlining raw piano and vocals, the cornerstones of Lia’s compositions. Having been written by Lia between the ages of 16 and 21, the sounds and subjects of the album are a reflection of her growth as a musician, and as a young woman.
