Presto : Element of Surprise (Explicit)
Lawrence, MA - Dance music recording artist BYLLI CRAYONE (Pronounced: Billy Kray-OH-nay) has a new dance album entitled "PRESTO: ELEMENT OF SURPRISE" to be released on January 18th, 2011.
The overall idea of the album was presented to Crayone by his good friend LISA LISA, best known as the lead singer of the 80s pop group LISA LISA & CULT JAM. She was the first to say she would love to record with him and suggested he make contact to his other friends of the 80s to see who else would interested in recording with him on this amazing album. "It started as an idea, then took on a life of it's own. I feel truly blessed with this album" - Bylli Crayone
Over the past year, Crayone has recorded with many of his favorite artists of the 80s. Everyone from BOY GEORGE and SAMANTHA FOX to NU SHOOZ and TIFFANY. He has recorded over 40 songs that were taken into consideration for the album. Only a handful made it. Including a cover of the 1987 dance hit by TAYLOR DAYNE called "Prove Your Love".
The album is a total dance album with a lot of '80s influence. The albums intro was done by none other than SPINDERELLA of the legendary rap group SALT N PEPA. "An amazing way to start the album!" says Crayone. "She's my hype lady, Love her!"
The first single from the album was digitally released on December 7th, 2010. It was a song called "IT'S OKAY BOY" featuring TIFFANY. Yes, that Tiffany of "I Think Were Alone Now" fame. The song topic "okay to be gay". This song was written with all the recent gay teen suicides in mind. Letting todays youth know, "Its ok to be yourself, its okay to be gay".
Album producers include Keith Kemper (B2K, Omarion, Village People), Joseph Barone and Victor Ochoa. Remixers include ThePhlexican, Joey 'Danger' Altura and Fred 'The Edit' Rivera. As for song writers, Crayone wrote all the songs on the album with the exception of "Prove Your Love" and "Talk Is Cheap" - (which he co-wrote with U.T.F.O.'s Mix Master Ice)
Crayone is not new to the music world. His first single "Girl, Hang It Up!" was released back in 1991. So as a tribute to the songs 20th Anniversary the song has been re-recorded and remixed for this album. Album features a special announcement by freestyle legend APRIL ("Someone to Hold", "Right on Time") regarding the song "Girl Hang It Up!".
This is deffinatly a modern dance album with a taste of the 80's.
