Alex Wright's debut album, Feeling the Pull, has been a lifetime in the making. No, really.

He grew up singing gospel with his family in eastern Kentucky, but always leaned towards rock & soul music. (And doesn't that all come from church music anyway?) He started writing songs as soon as he could play a few chords on the guitar, but it wasn't until he moved back to Kentucky (after 9 years in New York City) that he started recording.

It's been a labor of love, that's true, self-financed and all. But this isn't a vanity project. He truly hopes you enjoy the music that's been rattling around in his head all these years.
