Venesta Compton started her music career at the early age 7. Her first solo was at Ebenezer Baptist Church in Cleveland, Ohio.
Writing poetry started at the age of 12 years old. Venesta Graduated from Al Stiles Talent Factory in the early 80’s.
Vanesta was discovered in a Karaoke Club in the early 90’s.
At the present time she is signed to Kutt Diamond Records out of Fresno, CA under the artist name Finess.
Finess over the years has worked with several artists such as Terry Zapp Trotman (Sugar Foot lead singer of the Ohio Players) Dion Mikel and Yah Shumi both out of Fresno, Ca.
Finess has a unique,captivating,delightful sound of her own .
Finess received quidance from Jon Gillespie – Producer/Songwriter/Arranger and Singer.
Finess has performed at the Black Expo/Fort Wayne,IN in 2006 thru present day.
Finesss was Part of the Milligan Connection 1990-2003 Gospel/R&B group.
Sang back ground vocals for Dion Mikel, Yah Shuni and opening act for Lavell Jackson.
