Can You See The Stars

Bree Noble is a versatile songwriter, dynamic performer, and outstanding vocalist. She began playing piano and singing at age 6 and continued to develop these skills in a variety of musical styles including choral and a cappella music, barbershop quartet, classical, and rock/pop. While pursuing a degree in classical voice at Westmont College in Santa Barbara, she concurrently toured the western states with a pop/rock band. The band, Zephaniah, produced two studio projects and one live recording during the 4 years Bree sang lead and backup vocals and played keyboard with the group.

In 1998 Bree recorded an a cappella CD of traditional Christmas classics with her husband. The CD, The Hallelujah Duet was a huge hit throughout California and internationally over the internet. This unique project attracted local media coverage. "It Came Upon A Midnight Clear" topped the MP3.com all-site Top 100 and was featured on "An MP3 Christmas" put out by the company in 1998.

From 1998-2000, Bree was the lead singer for a popular weekly gathering in Orange County called Journey. Her dynamic performances earned her full page write-ups in several local newspapers.

Bree recorded and performed with the all female Alternative Rock band Not Martha from 2000 to early 2002. The group released a CD which received a stellar review from the Orange County Register in August, 2001. The group played at local festivals and high profile venues such as The Coach House in San Juan Capistrano, CA.

In 2002, Bree had solo success with her Pop/Christian Contemporary CD Overwhelmed for which she wrote 9 out of 10 tracks and performed all vocals, backing vocals and instrumentals almost entirely on her own. The song "Reason To Smile" was featured on a benefit CD called "Hold On Baby Jacob", while the title track was featured on a CD called "With My Song" put out by the website WeAreChristian.com.

Bree recorded and played live throughout California in a female duo often compared to the Indigo Girls called Blinders Off (http://blindersoff.iuma.com) from 2002-2003. She took some time off after the birth of her daughter Julia in April 2003.

The fruits of her labor during her pregnancy (no pun intended) were seen in 2004 with the release of 2 albums. As a chief collaborator on a new Broadway musical Little Italian Girl, she enjoyed writing music to fit the story line and weaving some of her older material into the mix. The result was a CD of highlights from the musical as well as a CD of Bree's best work from the project called Can You See The Stars. She wonders if ,when her daughter is old enough to understand, she will show some familiarity with the songs she heard sung so many times while in the womb.

Bree is in high demand by producers and songwriters for vocal work as well as for her songwriting and arranging ability. She has become a prolific songwriter whose body of work is diverse including several musical styles: AAA/Progressive Pop (singer/songwriter), Christian Pop/Rock and CCM, and Adult Contemporary. She is passionate about her writing and pours her soul into her lyrics creating sincere vignettes of her life experiences. Bree is a fantastic live performer with great stage presence, rapport with the audience, and the rare ability to sound even better live than in the studio.
