The album's theme is probably obvious, I was 50 recently and honestly never thought I'd live to such a great age. It's *not* about those endlessly tedious romantic vampire films! :)

Some track notes:
The track Embers was done in one afternoon using some review kit. When I returned to work on the track later it crashed Logic and I was never able to rescue it. Glad I did a quick bounce as there are parts I like a lot - even if there is an accidental hint of something familiar creeping in there.
Some of the tracks started life as library tracks but took on their own direction and broke free. Salvador's alpaca (originally called Dali's Llama for equally good reasons) began life when I asked Andy for a drone - and the one delivered was so impressive I carved out a track over its entire length.
The final track was expanded after Margaret did some great improvisations over a track that was previously quite different. I liked it so much I reshaped the whole thing around it.
