Luminara was born in the Fall of 2010; keeping the essence of the old but with a new focus and a revised concept in which acoustic sounds mix into a rock soundscape and meaningful lyrics taken on a mystical air.

When Iluminata decided it was time for an artistic hiatus, they got a hit on their ReverbNation account from a Chicago based producer interested in their musical concept. He showed a special interest in their unique, varied blend of musical elements fused into the 'rock en español' genre and expressed the wish to produce their first professional album under the independent label Thirdfire Records.
