This song came to me when I was struck by the flu or something in 2008.
It was after I'd learned of the death of a very important friend I was never able to thank. It came to me as a sort of dream state or method of speaking about learning some essential buried under all the "practical" day to day concerns.
I had given up TV, and this song just appeared, whole, in one day, while I was home, sick, barely able to sing the melody at all.
It was pitched for "Lost Luggage," but rejected.
I'm glad it's found a home as part of "Entre-Nous."
