Songs on this album, other than the song "Panacea", were primarily recorded with three instruments: a cajon, a nylon/steel guitar, and a keyboard. "Panacea" was recorded in 1998 with Rick Bryant playing drums. All songs were recorded quickly on a dying Yamaha AW16 recorder.
