Francesco Bruno aka Fade is back with a new EP, “When I Close My Eyes”.
“Fade” means transformation, transition from one state of the existence to another. The concept between “When I Close My Eyes EP” reflects his author: the A Side is composed by “Desolate”, a slow, dreampop sound track where dancefloor and dreamy sounds are strictly linked by a splendid, reverberated vocal part, and “When I Close My Eyes”, a UK sound influenced track with a killer drum session surrounded by pitched down vocal frames.
Even the B Side show Us a talent that never accept to stay in a specific genre, floating between sounds and influences: “Sun Drops” is based on harsh sounds crafted on spacey synths which sounds like a synthetic orchestra from a parallel universe, then the EP ends up with “When I Close My Eyes” reworked by Affine Records (Cid Rim & Dorian Concept’s Label) producer Sixtus Preiss.
