Plunger - A Briefing:

Plunger was an Annapolis/DC area post-hardcore/punk/emo band that existed from 1993-1996. Plunger’s discography includes a nine-song demo cassette (1993), a five-song 7" EP (1994), split 7"s with William Martyr 17 and Blank (1995), two LP compilation tracks (1995), and a posthumous LP (1997) – released a year after their last live performance. Plunger is equally remembered for their energetic and cathartic shows in claustrophobic basements, abandoned warehouses, dingy student unions, middle-of-nowhere garages, college cafes, halls, and any other space that would have them. During these years, the band performed along side many influential local and national bands, including Universal Order Of Armageddon, Blank, Anasarca, The Great Unraveling, The Crownhate Ruin, Cap'n Jazz, Spirit Assembly, Indian Summer, Franklin, Antioch Arrow, and Lync.
